Alphabet Soup Range

I got my hot liddle hands on this gorgeous range from My Minds Eye today from Daisy Chain Scrapbooks in Nambour today. My home away from home.
It is so sweet and I am love with the papers. I don't often do many of these sorts of papers because I don't think I can pull it off, but each time I have I have loved what I have done.... so I will be hunting down some cute photos of Danielle and Corey to play with on these papers.

This is going to be fun and great paper to use leftovers too to make cards up.
See ya

So here we are again

I feel like I have been out of touch with the scrapping world since we sold and left our house in mid November. We spent 9 nights in our caravan at the beach which would have been great if I had the time there... but with the Christmas retail hours up I was working every day all day so when I did get to stay there I loved it.
We moved into our new house in the pouring rain and I spent 40 hours there like a maniac unpacking all the boxes and putting furniture into place. Then we were on the plane to Sydney on the Friday. On the Saturday Ken and I and Corey stepped aboard the most beautiful ship I have ever seen for a comfortable and exciting two weeks ahead of us traveling all around New Zealand with 10 other friends of ours.
The Ships name was Rhapsody of the Seas.. I slept for the first 20 hours I think as I was absolutely buggered. It was a truely amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone. Great that you can unpack your suitcase for two weeks holiday and yet go all over a country.... well even though it is the size of a pimple.
We are now home and I had the Sunday at home and back into work the Monday before Christmas until Christmas Eve. We had a lovely quiet Christmas day. Just what we all needed.
Corey is really settled and extremely happy in our new home and so is Ken. He is on top of the world. So all happy at our place. No more moves for us.
Nice to be back online and will be spending hours on scanning through all your blogs girls.
I hope you all have a great year for 2011 and it is all positive for you all.
Love always

Up, up and Away!!

Have loved putting this layout together using the gorgeous Kaiser Craft Up, Up and Away paper range. I love doing vintage pages as I get to use lots of bits and pieces, inking up, distressing, screwing up paper, sewing etc.. I just love the whole thing of vintage full stop.
I have used the lovely Tim Holtz film strip here too which is one of my favorite embellies. It is just so quaint and cute. And also Collage Press Joy Ride aeroplane. Jenni Bowlins tiny alpha stickers and I have sprayed a bit of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on the hot air balloons.

I also have installed Picnik which is super cool photo editing program that Kim Jeffress told me about. I love playing and creating and editing photos once I have them on my laptop. This is also one of my loves which is included in my scrapping. Go over and check it out here. I have uploaded my before and after photo.

That's all for me right now.. I hope you all have had a great weekend... I did have for most of it.. Out of our house tomorrow and starting a new happy life. Off to the beach for ten days then into our gorgeously yummy new home after that.
Love you stopping in to check out my work..

Christmas time

Well I am not the scrapper to do many Christmas layouts. I seem to just miss the boat with the stunning photos.. Gotta get more organised. We wake up to the Christmas tree, looking like we have just woken up, hair all over the face and sleep in our eyes... then bang..... there is crap and paper and presents everywhere... ITS ALL OVER... ooh I didn't get a chance to do the photo thing.. Hence the reason I have only ever done about 3 Christmas layouts. So even though this year we are not having a Christmas tree due to moving just before Christmas, I want to try and get some good Santa photos etc so I can do some sort of Christmas OTP or layout or something in the new year.
I must admit I looooved doing this layout last night. This photo is from two years ago and I do love it. Not sure if Coreys smile could get any wider!!

I have used the gorgeous Graphic 45 Christmas Past Collection. This range is absolutely breathtaking. I love the vintage feel to the paper. Also I have used Bo Bunny Noel range. I have made my flower stash using Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Floral. These are gorgeous distressed and if you use his grunge paper they are perfect with that extra strength in the petals to bend up. And of course I am loving my new Martha Stewart Punch... the gorgeous Vintage Dove. Hope you are all enjoying your build up to Christmas... the silly season.. just take care out on the roads and don't panic and rush. We will all get there in the end and have a beautiful day with our families.
Love always.. Moonie x

Wanna check out my big balls?

Hahahahhaha gotcha!!!
I have had an absolute ball creating these gorgeous Christmas balls for the tree. I found them at work months ago packed up in a corner in a couple of boxes and thought mmm.... I need these...
I found myself pulling out all my Christmas paper and stickers etc and I had so much fun. They are easy but do take a bit of time as they are quite fiddly. I have glimmer misted a few using the Gold and used the Cuttlebug making scalloped circles and then finally adding a Christmas brad to the top.
Fun, fun, fun.

I am all set to make my own Christmas tags too this year... ooops, haven't even started my Christmas cards... Have any of you girls made or at least started your Christmas cards...
When I was up in Hervey Bay on the weekend I picked up some gorgeous Bo Bunny Christmas papers from the A Gift of Love range. It's delish.
I hope you are all organsied for Christmas.. I am... NOT!!
See you all soon

Inspired Blueprints Sketch

I love going to Inspired Blueprints to take part in a sketch challenge from time to time. The sketches are always so inspiring and it actually lets your brain chill out for a change.. I know you still have to come up with the goods... but the design is all there for you. This is my take on the sketch for October...
I have used a fair bit of bits and pieces in this layout. Good to do when it all blends together..
That's it for me for tonight..
Take good care and sleep well for another full on week..

Hervey Bay Wedding

We have just had a few days in Hervey Bay which was a nice break away. Kens son got married. It was a lovely small low key wedding in the garden and they are very happy.
I made this card which I thought was quite cute. I picked up the wee dress somewhere and I have used Delish Paper put through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss dots.. (my indeed favorite) and a bit of gold Glimmer Mist.

I hope you have all had a great weekend.. It is always nice to get home to home comforts. We are at the moment packing up to move to our gorgeous new home. Crap neighbours can be the death of you but we have picked up the problem... put it aside and are now moving on to our happy life we always like to keep. Some people just like to be nasty and vendictive just because they have nothing better to do in their own lives.. Lucky for all us girls... we have a great happy life and we all keep each other going!!!!!
So til next time.... keep smiling and LIFE IS GREAT!!!

Picnik

I love taking photos and most of all I love sitting on my laptop at night when I am not scrapping and editing photos. Kim Toms shared this link with me and I think it is great. I do love photo shop but I find I really have to put my sensible thinking cap on to edit here.. It is serious stuff to me... where with this and Picasa seem a lot more chilled out, fun and user friendly.
So pop on over and have a wee play for yourself. You will be pleasantly surprised what you can create with a simple photo.

My friend Lisa Hayes went on a Scrapbooking cruise over in Mykonos in the Greek Islands. She is such a lucky girl as she makes this one of her yearly priorities to go on these cruises organised by Cocoa Daisy and gets to do classes with the worlds best teachers....Karen Russell, Ali Edwards to name a couple. So awesome.
Anyway I have scrap lifted a canvas that Lisa did in a class with Jenni Bowlin.
I totally love the idea that they have got here... such a cute wee present or just a nice simple thing to add to your home or scrapping room.
Here is my take on the canvas.

Lots of ideas out there on the internet..... so so many beautiful talented ladies in our wee world.!!
Night for now

I was very excited as this is my first invite as a Guest Designer so go on over to their website and check out their awesome inspiration for the November Challenge..
The inspiration comes from the movie "Casablanca"
Here is my take on the challenge:

So go on over to From Screen 2 Scrap and give this cool challenge a go. They are a lot of fun and sometimes find you scrap photos you have sitting there and don't know what to do with.

Well it has been a hectic few weeks in the Webbs house here.... but that is life... Always something going on.
I am loving designing for A Craft Affair in Townsville. It is great when you have the chance to chose your own papers and embellies to put these kits together. Lots of fun.
We have a very busy month this month and then off to NZ for our first ever boat cruise. Ken being a boatie all his life has never wanted to be sitting on a boat he has no control over for two weeks... but we have been told by so many people how awesome of a time they have all had. So we are going. There is 7 of us going and we are taking Corey. I will even get to stop off and have the day with my Mum and John at the port of Mt Maunganui. Fish and chips on the beach....mmmmm
Then we get back in the hype of Christmas and a very quite Christmas Day this year for us. I am so excited and looking forward to a nice quiet day at home for Christmas Day.
Well off to do some scrapping for the night. I hope you all have lots of inspiration and are happy scrapping lately.

Love to you all

Time to scrap alone

My husband and my favorite boy in the world have been away at Fraser Island camping and boating and basically enjoying time away from the city life. I got to stay at home on my own as I had to work but also love being here by myself for some me time.
I had quality time to scrap in the afternoons after work til late at night with not one interruption. Pure bliss is what I call it.
I did this layout of my gorgeous sister and I having a tender moment on the day of my Wedding. This is just after we were announced Husband and Wife and I had many tears of absolute happiness. I have used the Crate Paper Restoration Collection, a paper doily, Websters lace, Thickers letters, Teresa Collins Swirl transparencies and thread.

In this next layout I have used some gorgeous Prima flowers and paper.. Ohh they are soo scrummy, the beautiful My Minds Eye Lost and Found paper which I cannot get enough of, a Teresa Collins bling metal button, Girls Paperie clock die cut and journal tag, lace and Kaiser Rhinestones.
I had a great night at Daisy Chain Scrapbooks last night but could not find any inspiration. I started on a layout and worked on it for over 2 hours, then threw it aside.. just couldn't get it together.. so tried at another one... and failed again.. so gave up all together and made these gorgeous wee tags for my two sweet little friends I went to see in Brisbane today on my motor bike. Great excuse for a day out on the bike. Thanks for the inspiration Monica. They loved them.

I've got my boys back tonight so we are all up for lots of love and cuddles in the bed together.. then later on I will be back to check out lots of blogs as I am much behind. Love looking at all of your inspiration.
Til next time.. thanks for checking out my love..

New Blog Photo

These are my love favorite girls in the world.. apart from you Mummy and Tanya... by blista..
This is when Danielle and Bonnie reunited after one year of seeing each other and 4 years living in different towns in Qld. They met 5 years ago in Cardwell Far North Qld, and have been besties ever since.
They were seperated 5 years ago when we left town and moved down here to the coast. 12 months ago my girl told me she was not happy living down here and had made the big decision to leave me and move back up north to where all her true friends were still.
Bonnie flew down here and the girls had a road trip back up North. They saved like made for 4 months up there once they both got full time jobs to get a bond sorted and money for all the housey stuff.. they are now like a married couple so in love with each others personalities.... it brings so many tears of happiness to my eyes. They are inseperable and bounce off each other all the time.
They say "We match" all the time when they think the same and decide on the same food, shoes, bags or even time to go to bed. It's crazy funny but so sweet. These girls are my life and Bonnie said I had to adopt her and add her as my other daughter on FaceBook... so yes indeed I have.
Can you see the tears of utter joy in Danielle's eyes. I cried my heart out when I saw them jump into each others arms this day at the airport.
I am so lucky to have such a gorgeous girl and to know that they have a soul mate in each other. I miss my soul mate in Mackay and all my besties up there.. Nothing like a true honest friend to have in your life.
Love always..

Summer Love

Well what an absolute magical day this Sunday was. Corey and I woke up and went to the markets with a friend at 6am and then we hit the beach to go for a swim at 8. Yep it was fairly nippy as this morning was I'm sure a low of about 10 degrees. Holey smoke it was cold but soo nice. It took til about 9.30am for me to swap my long sleeve for my swimming tank top.
Corey and I had a great day at home swimming in the pool and I of course caught some sun rays relaxing reading a magazine. I love this weather right now. It is just pure bliss.
I am so looking forward for the days and mornings that the first thing that I do is jump in our pool and get a refreshing start to my day.
Hope you all had a great weekend.
Off to finish off some kits for A Craft Affair in Townsville who I design kits for. They are the best bunch of girls up there. Just wish I were up there sometimes to put the kits together with them. I love that part.
Ok, chat to you all soon.

Five years today and my sister and I held hands and stroked his forehead until he took his last breath. Dad had a sudden massive stroke 5 years ago while he was working. He was great fun, always in for a laugh, his passion in life was his music and his guitar. Tanya and I flew back to NZ and got there within 24 hours of the phone call from the ambulance. We were blessed to be given our last 4 days with Dad. On the 3rd day he had an anuirism which took the biggest part of him away. We played his favorite music in his room for him and finally he was at peace. We took his working watch off his wrist which never come off and put his Rolex one on for him as he was to rest from now on.
He was so proud of us two girls. We were the world to him. You were the world to us too Dad and to know you had the best holiday here with us in Qld just 6 weeks before you left... made me so happy.
Love you forever Dad and I we will be in touch again in our dreams. I have dreamed about Dad about 3 times in the past 3 weeks. It's so real. Just like he was here.
