Up, up and Away!!

Have loved putting this layout together using the gorgeous Kaiser Craft Up, Up and Away paper range. I love doing vintage pages as I get to use lots of bits and pieces, inking up, distressing, screwing up paper, sewing etc.. I just love the whole thing of vintage full stop.
I have used the lovely Tim Holtz film strip here too which is one of my favorite embellies. It is just so quaint and cute. And also Collage Press Joy Ride aeroplane. Jenni Bowlins tiny alpha stickers and I have sprayed a bit of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on the hot air balloons.

I also have installed Picnik which is super cool photo editing program that Kim Jeffress told me about. I love playing and creating and editing photos once I have them on my laptop. This is also one of my loves which is included in my scrapping. Go over and check it out here. I have uploaded my before and after photo.

That's all for me right now.. I hope you all have had a great weekend... I did have for most of it.. Out of our house tomorrow and starting a new happy life. Off to the beach for ten days then into our gorgeously yummy new home after that.
Love you stopping in to check out my work..

Christmas time

Well I am not the scrapper to do many Christmas layouts. I seem to just miss the boat with the stunning photos.. Gotta get more organised. We wake up to the Christmas tree, looking like we have just woken up, hair all over the face and sleep in our eyes... then bang..... there is crap and paper and presents everywhere... ITS ALL OVER... ooh I didn't get a chance to do the photo thing.. Hence the reason I have only ever done about 3 Christmas layouts. So even though this year we are not having a Christmas tree due to moving just before Christmas, I want to try and get some good Santa photos etc so I can do some sort of Christmas OTP or layout or something in the new year.
I must admit I looooved doing this layout last night. This photo is from two years ago and I do love it. Not sure if Coreys smile could get any wider!!

I have used the gorgeous Graphic 45 Christmas Past Collection. This range is absolutely breathtaking. I love the vintage feel to the paper. Also I have used Bo Bunny Noel range. I have made my flower stash using Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Floral. These are gorgeous distressed and if you use his grunge paper they are perfect with that extra strength in the petals to bend up. And of course I am loving my new Martha Stewart Punch... the gorgeous Vintage Dove. Hope you are all enjoying your build up to Christmas... the silly season.. just take care out on the roads and don't panic and rush. We will all get there in the end and have a beautiful day with our families.
Love always.. Moonie x

Wanna check out my big balls?

Hahahahhaha gotcha!!!
I have had an absolute ball creating these gorgeous Christmas balls for the tree. I found them at work months ago packed up in a corner in a couple of boxes and thought mmm.... I need these...
I found myself pulling out all my Christmas paper and stickers etc and I had so much fun. They are easy but do take a bit of time as they are quite fiddly. I have glimmer misted a few using the Gold and used the Cuttlebug making scalloped circles and then finally adding a Christmas brad to the top.
Fun, fun, fun.

I am all set to make my own Christmas tags too this year... ooops, haven't even started my Christmas cards... Have any of you girls made or at least started your Christmas cards...
When I was up in Hervey Bay on the weekend I picked up some gorgeous Bo Bunny Christmas papers from the A Gift of Love range. It's delish.
I hope you are all organsied for Christmas.. I am... NOT!!
See you all soon

Inspired Blueprints Sketch

I love going to Inspired Blueprints to take part in a sketch challenge from time to time. The sketches are always so inspiring and it actually lets your brain chill out for a change.. I know you still have to come up with the goods... but the design is all there for you. This is my take on the sketch for October...
I have used a fair bit of bits and pieces in this layout. Good to do when it all blends together..
That's it for me for tonight..
Take good care and sleep well for another full on week..

Hervey Bay Wedding

We have just had a few days in Hervey Bay which was a nice break away. Kens son got married. It was a lovely small low key wedding in the garden and they are very happy.
I made this card which I thought was quite cute. I picked up the wee dress somewhere and I have used Delish Paper put through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss dots.. (my indeed favorite) and a bit of gold Glimmer Mist.

I hope you have all had a great weekend.. It is always nice to get home to home comforts. We are at the moment packing up to move to our gorgeous new home. Crap neighbours can be the death of you but we have picked up the problem... put it aside and are now moving on to our happy life we always like to keep. Some people just like to be nasty and vendictive just because they have nothing better to do in their own lives.. Lucky for all us girls... we have a great happy life and we all keep each other going!!!!!
So til next time.... keep smiling and LIFE IS GREAT!!!

Picnik

I love taking photos and most of all I love sitting on my laptop at night when I am not scrapping and editing photos. Kim Toms shared this link with me and I think it is great. I do love photo shop but I find I really have to put my sensible thinking cap on to edit here.. It is serious stuff to me... where with this and Picasa seem a lot more chilled out, fun and user friendly.
So pop on over and have a wee play for yourself. You will be pleasantly surprised what you can create with a simple photo.

This reminds me of my Mum when she was younger.... the girls were so gorgeous and carefree and didn't seem to have the body issues girls have today. Love these vintage pics... Not that you are at all vintage Mummy dear... you are just simply the best xx

My friend Lisa Hayes went on a Scrapbooking cruise over in Mykonos in the Greek Islands. She is such a lucky girl as she makes this one of her yearly priorities to go on these cruises organised by Cocoa Daisy and gets to do classes with the worlds best teachers....Karen Russell, Ali Edwards to name a couple. So awesome.
Anyway I have scrap lifted a canvas that Lisa did in a class with Jenni Bowlin.
I totally love the idea that they have got here... such a cute wee present or just a nice simple thing to add to your home or scrapping room.
Here is my take on the canvas.

Lots of ideas out there on the internet..... so so many beautiful talented ladies in our wee world.!!
Night for now

Guest Designer!!!

I have very exciting news to share with you. I was so pleasantly surprised a few months ago when I was asked to be the Guest Designer for the month of November for From Screen 2 Scrap.
I was very excited as this is my first invite as a Guest Designer so go on over to their website and check out their awesome inspiration for the November Challenge..
The inspiration comes from the movie "Casablanca"
Here is my take on the challenge:

So go on over to From Screen 2 Scrap and give this cool challenge a go. They are a lot of fun and sometimes find you scrap photos you have sitting there and don't know what to do with.
I hope you make the time to have some fun.

See ya soon

Well it has been a hectic few weeks in the Webbs house here.... but that is life... Always something going on.
I am loving designing for A Craft Affair in Townsville. It is great when you have the chance to chose your own papers and embellies to put these kits together. Lots of fun.
We have a very busy month this month and then off to NZ for our first ever boat cruise. Ken being a boatie all his life has never wanted to be sitting on a boat he has no control over for two weeks... but we have been told by so many people how awesome of a time they have all had. So we are going. There is 7 of us going and we are taking Corey. I will even get to stop off and have the day with my Mum and John at the port of Mt Maunganui. Fish and chips on the beach....mmmmm
Then we get back in the hype of Christmas and a very quite Christmas Day this year for us. I am so excited and looking forward to a nice quiet day at home for Christmas Day.
Well off to do some scrapping for the night. I hope you all have lots of inspiration and are happy scrapping lately.

Love to you all
