7 Gypsies

I love the new 7 Gypsies new Lille Collection... OMG!!! There is so much to love about this paper. It is so my favorite sort of paper as I think I have found my style. I do love to do so many different layouts.. but I do find that I tend to always go for the vintage, shabby chic sort of style. I find that I love to play with my papers and embellishments rather than just stick them down. I have bought many of these papers a few weeks ago as the other sides are just as exciting as the other. In this layout I have used the ABUNDANCE paper. It is so cool. I have also added something rather different to give this grunge backing paper a pop. This is the MME Fine and Dandy paper collection, I have used the bird from the Echo Park Life is good range.. these are super cute papers, a Kaiser woodchip fence which I have inked up lightly, Kaiser crocheted flowers, my2angels camera charm and name pin, 7 Gypsies tag, MME Stella and Rose stickers and trim.
So nice to have these photos of Danielle. She has been a rat bag and not sent me one photo since she has been up north. She is naughty. She said they hardly take photos of each other... So I have had to get into my stash of older photos.. but that is ok.. they all need to be scrapped.. :-)
These photos were only taken last year anyway. She and I had a great girly day out in Noosa. She is the sparkle in my eye and I love her so much.

Thanks for stopping in to check out what I have been up to. Off to have fish and chips on the beach with my boys for an early dinner and watch the sun set... maybe if we are lucky.

Day out on the bikes

Just a few pics we took today.. Was meant to be a girls ride today but the 3rd one was not up to riding.... so Kerry joined us.. lucky we let him... :-) that is my sister above and Kerry is her hubby. We went through the windy back roads up to Montville and then onto Maleny. It was just magnificent weather and the roads we filled with bikes out for the day. All had the same idea. Many many dangerous pot holes in the roads which you have to be so aware of..
We had a good shop in both wee towns, had some international food and acted the goat and took lots of fun photos.
That's what weekends are all about!!
Hope you all had a good one too

Karen Russell

This is one gorgeous photographer who totally inspires me. She is full of life, gorgeous, has a great husband and children, takes the most fantastic photos and she just makes me smile so much when I read her blog. Karen takes online photography courses which I understand are overwhelmingly super. I have a friend Lisa Hayes who has done many of them and loves them.
So take a look at her blog... she is just totally amazing.!
Just thought I would share that one with you tonight.
See ya

Big Picture Classes - One Little Word

I have signed up to do this 12 month self paced course with Ali Edwards.. Who else is doing it..? I would love to know. I don't know much about it yet as I was just recommended to do it.. so I took the punt and signed up. But since not having internet connection at home and I am well and truly behind.. but I am not worried as it is self paced thank goodness. I am looking forward to learning a lot and going out of my comfort zone, thinking out of the square and learning many other things I would not normally get the time to do. So go to Big Picture Classes and see what it is all about. Ali has many many courses online that you can do. She is a very inspiring lady and I love her work. This is my first photo of me...

I will be going to Daisy's tomorrow night without my scrapping stash for the first time ever and I will be concentrating on doing what I need to do to get up to date and breeze through much loved blogs that I need to read.
So that's all for now..
Have a great weekend all.

Girl Paperie

This is perfect cute as romantic paper to do a real girly layout. I have used the scalloped edge paper for my border and used the patchwork paper for the inside blocks. It was lots of fun putting this together as I got to use some of the smaller photos of the girls that I had put aside, bit of journaling which is always easy to do with the girls as they are such happy bubbly things, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, Prima flower, Girl Paperie word stickers which are so cute and there are sooo many, Websters Pages button, Kaiser pearls and some machine sewing of course.
So here is an idea if you want to use up some of the smaller favorite photos you have in your stash. You can even convert this to a masculine page using different papers.
Thanks for stopping by..
Friday tomorrow.. yeeeehaaa!

My 2 Angels

Here is one of my layouts that I have done using the gorgeous products that Tracy @ My2Angels has for all of us to enjoy.

Follow your heart and love key charms are so romantic. I love them. Tracy sent me these to use as she knows I love doing romantic and vintage pages. I love how they stand out on your page as they are a different element among the flowers and paper.

The bling word DREAM I just had to have on my layout as Danielle is at her happiest when she is photographing and creating with the camera. This is the first time she has been behind her own camera and I love it.

Check out the cheapest ever prices on the bling words. I have a good wee stash of them.

I have used Flower Stamens and Mini Gardenias to add the romantic touch to my page. I have Glimmer Misted them up to give them an extra touch of colour.

So go on over to the My2Angels website. This month Tracy has......................

up to 30% off bling during the month of February

My unwelcomed visitor

Just when I was about to lock the screen door this morning I was horrified to see this just outside my door just a foot away from where I was standing.
Madly I cannot believe it but my first instinct was to fetch the camera.. and then the phone!! OMG... So while trying to tell my husband what was outside I was on all angles quietly trying to get a good shot of this horrid thing. Yep it was black and dangerous too.
After telling Corey this afternoon about the liddle visitor and warning him to keep all screens and doors shut every moment of the day... he said "Of course Mummy"......
Then I went outside where Ken was planting new plants in our garden.... only to find this..

And after screaming for the second time today.... he thought it was awesome... as his joke worked on me.. it was his plastic snake. But look how clever he was using the broom to put beside the bleeding snake.. BOYS!! I TELL YOU!

Here is my precious wee boy Corey who started a Grammar 3 weeks ago after being at his old school and friends for 3 years. He was keen as anything when he got his uniform and the first week went fantastic. The second week he had tears in his eyes each morning in the car and even sat on the Friendship Chair two days. This chair is where you sit when you have no friends to play with when you are new. Ken and I nearly cried for him.. It was soo sad. Last week was his 3rd week and he has finally made some friends and is happy to be there now. Thank goodness for that as he is a very social loving boy and loves friends.
We are both very proud parents and the best thing is that he loves school work..not just school. So we are hoping he will do really well for the next 9 years... Oh thank God I am not doing school anymore.. shhhh
That's all for now...
Hope you are all having a great weekend.

Coreys Birthday

Well it has been a huge 2 weeks in the Webb household in more ways than one. We missed Kens birthday on Tuesday as he was up north sorting out our pub and then it was a quiet day on Thursday for Coreys 8th as he missed his Dad and we didnt quite know what to buy him. But he was spoilt anyway and got a cute as wee ACER notebook. It is white and has an aqua lid. Very perfect and he will begin to learn a lot off this. Much better than the games that we were thinking about. If he is going to be on a screen of any sort I would much rather him be learning than just playing dumb games all the time that to be honest drive me crazy.
So he has his birthday party at the Cotton Tree swimming pool yesterday with 11 of his dear friends. Most of them were from his old school who he had an absolute ball with the whole day.
Ken is home now.. got home Friday and is quite devastated with the whole deal up north. Our pub is in a pretty tragic condition. We have 8 accommodation rooms out the back and they are trashed. All beds in a pile on the side of the road and the carpet is all ripped up, windows smashed due to the trees that feel through into the rooms. The ocean basically come right through the front bar of the pub. It is terrible.
When I get the photos I will post them.
Thanks for stopping in and saying boo.
Take care and hopefully Internet connection is 2 days away.

Go over to My2Angels and check out my layout I have done using the gorgeous products Tracy has in stock. She has a great range of bling, charms, felt, ribbon and so many more yummo products which we all love.

These photos were taken in the short but the best 8 hours that I had with my sweet Mum and John in New Zealand when we went on our boat cruise in December. We fitted in so much in such a short time and had an absolute day of laughing, shopping, gas bagging, cuddling, crying and sharing some great kiwi food.
Mum and John have an awesome Art Gallery at their home and this is the OPEN sign John and Mum made out of corrugated iron. I absolutely love him to bits. He goes out the front of their home each day and they get so many people stopping in to look at their talented work. So a big thanks to you Mum for passing down your super duper talent and creativity. I love my life with being so creative. What else would I be doing with my time???
Love you lots and miss you to pieces.
Night all xx
