Christmas PL page

Well here is my Christmas Project Life page for 2012.  I am just doing random pages and have been for the past 6 weeks.  Practice runs.... as I start my first PL album in 2013.
I cannot believe how much fun this project actually is.

Just at a friends place tonight NOT SCRAPPING but sparing a few good hours on editing photos and I am going to get on Pinterest and have a good ol' search!!!!!!  Something I just don't get time for usually.  Love nights like this..  I will never be a bored old girl when I am older!!!! LOL
Cant wait to start next year!!!!

My Christmas Pillow case boxes

This month over at Ruby Rock-it we are featuring Festive creations with RRBF products.  I decided to make these little Pillowcase boxes and I filled them with chocolate for gifts for two special people this Christmas.
Go on over to the Ruby Rock-it site and read about the products that I have used.  While you are there check out the other super cute projects the other designers have come up with.  I have used no Christmas paper to make these.  But they feel very festive to me.

Make sure you LIKE our Ruby Rock-it website.. We have nearly 1000 likes and would love for you to join us.
Happy New Year to you all

Christmas with my boys

Well now that Christmas is over... I am looking forward to another great year next year. This year was my year and I reached my goal. That was to lose 10kg. I lost 11 in 14 weeks and have kept it off all year.  I lost it by June so I did pretty good all year.  I know how to eat now and what is nasty for me.  I still like my nasties LOL but I know how to have them.. And that is in very very small portions and as a treat.  Not like before.. Just an every day treat ....
I have stopped training for 4 weeks while I get treatment on my back.  It has been a massive success.  I am still walking but I do miss my weight and cardio training which kills the calories.  1 January 2013 I will begin again.  Im sure I have a bit of Christmas blubber to kill off.

I want to share with you the left hand side of my double page.  This is my Christmas layout. Im pretty happy with it.  I am not a person to normally do Christmas layouts as I don't really have exciting or stunning Chrissy photos.  But this year I just wanted to put them together as I know later on in life I will regret it.

So here is my page.  I have just about finished my other side but need to print out one more photo that I forgot to print.  I will post that tomorrow night.

Next is NYE.... we are going to the beach to chill out on the beach chairs and eat some yummy Thai takeaways and have a drink to celebrate the coming new year.  I hope you all have a great celebration and a very positive new year in 2013.

Hugs and smiles... Moonie

Crate Paper - Fourteen

I am missing doing my girly pages as my Danielle no longer lives close by and she is very slack in taking photos.. The one thing I kill for!!!  I need to have a stern word with her and get her partner to take some mummy photos!!!!!!  I do enjoy doing the boy layouts but I do love doing pages on Danielle.
This photo was take on her 21st birthday in April.  I love the red on her with her dark hair.. (blonde naturally LOL) but I must admit she is a stunning brunette!

I love this new range that Crate Paper has bought out.  Such cool colours, vibrant and yet a bit vintage at the same time.  I cant wait to make a few cards with the left overs.

Here is my product list:

Crate Paper - Fourteen
Fabscraps - Heritage Rose
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist - Coffee Shop
October Afternoon - Mini Market stickers
Tim Holtz Button
my2angels decorative pin
Amy Tan Thickers - Muse
Cardstock
Doily
7 Gypsies metal tag circle
Lace
Tim Holtz Rosette
Washi Tape

Thats all for today.. Cant believe how hot it is out here.  Im on my lunch break and I wish I was at the beach instead swimming in the refreshing surf.
Take care and see you soon x

Here comes 2013

After chosing papers and then throwing them out of the way for the next choice and then the next choice again... I ended up with this for my Project Life 2013 Cover page.

I can't wait to get started on this project next week.  All sorted and ready to go with s...loads of supplies.. Overkill but who cares... I have a smile on my dial and ready roll!!!!  Will be good when I learn to add words (brushes) onto my photos.. I love that look.  I believe it is pretty simple.. but it's just another thing to learn and another few spare hours to find to do it.

And here is my second Kaiser Craft desk Organiser that I did up for a friend for Christmas.  I love this.. im onto my third.  The third is for me.. I will then have 2 which will be side by side with all my PL stash in it.

That's it for me tonight.. It's 1.45am and I am leaving Daisys (my local Scrapbooking shop).  I have work in the morning and a big day.. So time for me to get some snoozing.
Have a great weekend everyone x

Christmas Eve

Well here in Australia we only have 30 minutes left til the 25th December.  My son has been soo excited all day and wanted to go to bed super early so he can wake up faster to open all of those presents behind him.  He is pretty keen to get his big one open.  It was his request this year.  He is getting an XBOX 360.  We said he had to save $100 to go towards it as it was $300 and I dont want him to think that that is a reasonable price for one Christmas present.  So for the past few months he has been earning his $ and gave me $100 cash about a month ago.  Good on him!!!!!!
Just a little learning of the real life in our house.

This was our local beach where my hubby swims 2km each morning and Corey does nippers and Mummy drinks yummy coffee LOL
Santa arrived in a Life Saving boat and then fun fireworks for the kids.
Was so nice to see so many families down here having BBQ's and fish and chips together.  Sadly I had a break down of tears ..... Makes me miss my girl so much.  Love her so much.. x

We had a bit of fun taking these photos today.  I couldnt work out my Self Timer on my camera.  Hence why there are no photos of the three of us together.  Maybe tomorrow.

And lastly tonight before I lay my head to rest ...
Don't forget to stop by the RRBF Facebook page to be in for a chance of winning some gorgeous goodies!  All you have to do is 'like' our Facebook page, 'share' it with your friends and have them 'like' it too and get them to say you sent them :)
Tonight is the last give-away so make sure you pop on over to our FB page.

Goodnight to you all and I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow.

Christmas Cards

Here are a couple of cards I have made using some of the lovely Bella paper and Ruby Rock-it embellishments.
I decided to not go with the Christmas paper and use their stunning wedding collections instead.  I am always a lover for gold and silver on Christmas cards.
Go on over to the RRBF website and have a look at their gorgeous collections.
And they are having a daily giveaway at the moment until Christmas so pop on over here and check them out.
Have a beautiful Christmas my lovely followers.  We are having a very simple and quite one which is still going to be bliss.  My hubby is on beach patrol from 12-5.30 so we will spend half the day on the beach with him.
Stay safe and happy x

Love my Blister x

I have been loving this MME paper for ages but I have such yummy stash of paper sometimes it takes a wee while to get to through it all LOL
I have been holding on to this photo of my sister and I for ages waiting for the right paper to come along.  I took this using Instagram.  Love this app.  Love the colours of it and the frame.
Between doing some Project Life pages, scrapping my 12x12 pages, making cards, and doing up a couple of my Kaiser Craft Desk Organisers I have been keeping very busy.  This is between working.  I have now got 4 days off and go back on Boxing Day which will no doubt be CRAZY!! Slipping in some quality time

Well it surely has been a hectic few months. School has now finished.  My Corey has been off for 3 weeks already in 2 days time. He is ready to go back LOL.  Being an only child at home it can get boring especially when Mum and Dad are still working.
While we took Daddy to hospital for Day Surgery Corey and I took off up the hill to Montville.  It is the most quaint part of where we live.  We are so lucky to have the ocean to the left and the mountains to the right (so to speak).  We went up there this early morning and the breeze was beautiful. It was one of those lovely not too overbearing hot summer days.  We had brunch together.  I didn't realise that Corey bought his camera with us.  I took mine as I am missing playing with it and trying to better my shots.  Im not a huge photographer as in getting the most awesome shots.. learning to perfect shots is more my game.  I take loads of photos every week but lots of happy snaps.
I thought it was pretty cute seeing Corey laying on the grass trying to capture this cute ladybug he had found.

The gardens as you can see remind me of my childhood in New Zealand.  My Mum is the most creative gardener you would ever meet.
I thought this range of Simple Stories paper matched in perfectly with our day out.
Just another one to add to my PL album.
Not many sleeps left!!!!!
6 more to be precise.  I hope you are organised.
Night night all my lovelies x

My Masters Submissions 2012

Well it has been a long time to be able to share my Scrapbooking Memories Masters submissions with you.  I can only imagine how it has been for the Masters themselves to have keep this secret hidden for three or so months.  Im sure it would have killed them.  Today I found out that I got an honourable mention in one of my layouts.  I love my work that I sent in and I am happy even not getting a place.  The end of the day I always love this yearly challenge.  I have entered 3 years in a row now and have had Honourable Mentions each year.
So now I get to share my work.

The Criteria for this layout was:
A 5x7 photo with the subject having eye contact with the lens.

The Criteria for this layout was:
A double layout including something to do with your childhood memories

And the big challenge for most of us was to do a canvas.....
ANYTHING ON A CANVAS.

My head was in overdrive thinking of all the possibilities of what I could create.  I ended up doing something that I would love... This was my end result.

Once again well done to all you fabulous creative girls who are now the 2013 Masters.  Im sure your year will be BIG X
Thats all from me
Thanks for letting me share my work

Scrapbooking Masters Winners!!!!!!!

Well a huge congratulations goes out to these very talented girls.  3 of who are friends of mine and I know they deserve this credit.  I love their work and it is all so beautiful.  They will now design for Scrapbooking Memories Magazine for 12 months now and have great publication for that time.

The Scrapbooking Memories team would like to congratulate the following ten well-deserving winners on their appointment as the new Masters. We cannot wait to see what they come up with over the next 12 months!
In alphabetical order:
Congratulations Masters!
To see their work, make sure you pick up a copy of Scrapbooking Memories Masters, on sale Wednesday!
Me however,  have missed out on a placing but for the 3rd year in a row got an Honourable Mention for one of my submissions.  I am always pretty happy for this achievement.  Now that the cats are out of the bag I can post my work for you to see.
This is the layout I got Honourable Mentions for:

The criteria for this layout was that you had to use at least 3 photos and have hidden journalling on the page somewhere.  This is my cousin and her family who travelled around Australia for 12 months in a camper van.  They had the most incredible time and now I will put it onto a canvas and give it to them as a gift.

I will post my other submissions shortly..  Spending the day at home with my boys.  So nice
Thats all for now..
Happy Friday!!!!!!!
