A truly inspiring girls weekend

I decided to do a couple of challenges for a change this weekend. I did part of my book I am doing for myself and between looking after my girls, trying to keep my big open house warm, keep the music going, keep Corey entertained for the first 3 hours of my Saturday I managed to get two layouts done. I cannot believe these other girls scrap like flying friggin rockets.. I am sooooooooooo slow... I procrastinate and put on and take off... but hey... thats just me I guess. In this layout I used the gorgeous Websters paper which I have only ever used once and that was on a card. And also the Pink Paislee scalloped printed paper. Go over to Artastic Challenges and check them out. Coolest site. In this layout below I used the very cool 7 Gypsies PP -Ecriture, Pink Paislee PP- Shooting Stars and Starlight bright, October Afternoon letter stickers, Cosmo Cricket lettering, Little Yellow Bicycle Fabric Borders, Bo Bunny candy brads, punched out starts inked up, Jenny Bowlin yummo buttons, and I think the cool vintage camera is from the Mama Razzi range. I was a bit adventurous and gave it a bit of a squirt with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. This layout is my take on the Stuck June Sketch Challenge.

Thanks girls for coming to my house and scrapping all day Saturday. I think we covered 15 hours of scrapping.. well I did by the time I plonked my tired weary body into bed. The Brisbane girls left about 8.30pm after a yummy cook up of Barbies famous Nachos. They were such a hit by all 7 of us. And a special big hug to Tarrah who come all the way from the icicles on ya snozz NSW. She was an absolute darling girl to fly all the way up here to meet me and play all weekend. We finished our day by going to my favorite spot just meters from home for brunch before heading to the airport again.

  1. Hi Lisa
I thought I posted here but can't see my comment as yet.

To upload to Stuck?!, you need to click on your layout above and copy that address into the Mr Linky on our blog under the relevant sketch post.
So exactly the same as you did the other day but with a direct link to your layout :)

Email me at qldscrapper@optusnet.com.au if you run into anymore trouble.

  2. You have meet me IRL - HA as if I would get any scrapping done I would talk all day long ... yeah me too I am a procrastinate scrapper as well but I usually take a week (in the meantime starting more layouts). And I am SHOCKED how could you have never used Websters before - perhaps I should get my butt up there and share some of my collection!
