My Latest Layout
I punched out the hearts and scrunched them, then sewed a sequence and then a bead through the middle of the hearts for that feminine touch. Under the ONLY stickers I have used another punch and in between the scalloped circles I have punched out I have added white tulle finishing off with a pearl hat pin. And of course I have sewn on the outline of my Prima paper.
Thanks for looking and I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas and have caught up with all those friends and family close to your heart.
Night for now
Moonie x papers is just gorgeous.. so feminine and so easy to work with. In this layout I have used the beautiful K&Co chipboard butterflies, letters, the ever so useful Kaiser

Loove this range by My Minds Eye
These cards are simply gorgeous and will go with most papers to give the page some character and dimension. I love to ink these when I use them, sandpaper the edges and many other ways to jazz these up.. if not they even look simply perfect just raw as they are x
PS I am currently putting together a special LO with this line so watch out for it x
Bye for now Moonie x

A wee note to you all x
Well the silly season is here and we are right in the middle of it. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas day with your friends and family and got spoilt rotten. I know I did. We had a street party which was great for us as we moved in here only 7 or so weeks ago so it was so great to feel so welcomed by everyone.. lots of food, drinks, presents and music for the kids!! Way to go!! I am actually for once spending the afternoon here at home in my media room with the air on indulging in some DVDs with my family. Sooo good... as we never take the time to just stop and do this. I have my best friend of 14 years coming down from Mackay today with her two gorgeous Daughers Bryony (17) and Amani (5). She kept this as a suprise from me until now. It's her birthday tomorrow and we are going to celebrate in good style... tonight will be filled with belly laughs and tears~!!!!! Can't wait. I hope you are all enjoying some time off or at least time with your family when you can. Christmas this year has been so special to me as I have my Mum and Step Dad over from NZ for two weeks. My sister and I are sharing them and having lots and lots of fun with them. Been to the markets, beach, dinner, lunch, bike riding, shopping, swimming and another week of it left together. So here's to all you special wonderful friends out there.... Merry Christmas and I hope you all have a great New Year filled with love, fun and laughter. Life is good and I could not ask for anything else to complete my life!!
Love Moonie x

TIME OUT
My 18 yr old daughter and I are privileged to have 4 days to ourselves home alone!! This never happens and we treasure it more than anyone could imagine. We are very close the two of us and it is so nice to not have anyone around us just so we can have that time to just bond and be "US" again.. we haven't done much at all except hang out at home, try clothes on together, swap jewellery, watch DVDs in our new massive media room waiting on each other in turns and just be idiots together...
I was a single mum for a couple of years and now we are a family of four as I remarried 5 years ago and had my wee beautiful boy 6 years ago.. so our own time has pretty much gone out the window as time has flown in this crazy thing called LIFE!! So hence the reason why we are cherishing each and every moment we have been blessed to have together x
Hope you all have a great week and don't forget to slow down a bit... I know it is hard this close to Christmas but all will get done in the end
Night for now

How Cute!!
Shiny Happy Art .....
Looking for something to give to someone special for Christmas ! well check this out !
Make sure to visit her website
Back online!!!!!!!!!
So until then I am at least online for now.
I have moved into our new house and fully set up and settled. We are loving our 12.5 metre pool to the max. I think I am the most frequent user.. I just can't get enough of it to be honest. And what a difference it makes to my tolerance of the heat so much more. That's when I am at home of course.
I have missed my last Friday night scrapping crop and I am pining for it already. Miss the girls... miss my bestie Melissa but we will be scrapping again asap.
So now I feel a lot more content.... isn't it crazy... that I am back online... that I can check out the challenges, new products, more inspiration, peoples new creations and sink my teeth back into my most favorite hobbie.
Til next time...
Take care

This is a very special LO that I have put together. My sister and I lost my Dad 4 years ago and I have not been able to do a LO of him yet... I pick up his photo every week and look at him and put them back down. I did have the courage mind you this week to do this.
Each year for Dad on the 10th October my sister and I alway go to the beach at 5am in the morning and have special time with him. We have lots of tears and many great memories of our lives with Dad. We throw of lots of red roses out in memory of him.
Love the Teresa Collins Friendship line too xx sooo nice.

My first challenge and I am the winner!!!
Black with 2 have a monthly challenge and my girlfriend inspired me to step out of my square and do my first challenge. I really enjoyed putting the LO together and it was quite cool to HAVE to have certain products in my LO instead of doing whatever I decided. There are soo many Challenges out there and they are a lot of fun I have decided. So hop to it and give them a go. Here is the winning LO Thanks for looking everyone Moonie x
I'm Back.... :-)
My husband and I and son have just spent 5 days in Darling Harbour Sydney for our Camera House AGM. We attended the Gala Dinner and won the most honourable award for "Camera House of the Year" Australia Wide. Being in the industry for just 18 months we were absolutely stoked. We have fantastic staff who are extremely dedicated and we treat them like family and they treat us the same. This always seems to work!! And my husband gives all he has to give to any business he gets involved in. So woooohoooo for him!!
So nice to back on track. But only for a week or so and then I will be having a wee spell for a couple of days or so as we have sold our house and are moving to our new pad this weekend.. so my week has not slowed down just because we are home... Can't wait to be moved in and settled again..
Will keep you posted.
Hope you all have a great week
Moonie xx

Corey my best boy in the world has had what I thought were growing pains. He is only 6 and is a very active and extremely healthy happy boy. His pains were getting worse to the extreme that he could not even manage to walk. I have been lifting him to his spot and toilet etc so i thought this is not right. Took him to the Doctor yesterday and the Doctor has said he has acute Arthritis and has already lost muscle mass on his knee and has a bit of swelling in the shin. He was taken for xrays and blood tests straight away. Thank God the xrays look very positive but there are a couple of concerns so he is off for an ultra sound on Monday morning. He is not a happy boy and is chronic pain then he is ok. He is on crutches but is so terrible to see the sadness in his eyes as he keeps saying "I hate having a sore leg Mumma". He has basically nothing since Wednesday. He is used to going to the beach most days after school for a body surf, play footy in the back yard with Dad or cricket or tennis up against the wall of the house. Just makes you reaslise how lucky we are with good health and makes you feel sooo much for the poor parents and children out there that are not as fortunate as us all out there running around out there not realising just how lucky we all are xxx
Off to the beach so I have to go and pack some food and board games
Have a great weekend everyone

October Challenge
Please send your layouts including a list of products used to the above address & dont forget to include your name so we know who its from .
**Please Note: International Scrapper's are most welcome to enter, however should you win, all shipping costs exceeding $6.00 will be your responsibility.****
Three of my recent layouts...
I did this LO just about 4 days after my darling daughter... my best friend of 18 years told me that she was going to leave home and go and live back we left 3.5 years ago. She misses her closest friends dearly and has not really been herself since we have been here. We both cried for ages together. That plan has changed since then... just 3 months ago.. well it has been postponed until next year. At least this way I will be more prepared.
Anyway I have used MM Animal Cracker and Laundry Line PP, Tiger Lily flower, thread, Heidi Swapp Letters, Kaiser Rubons, EK Success Dates, lace and a bling brad. x

A fun Sassafras LO
How cool is this range by Sassafras! It is so much fun to do a LO with especially when my boy Corey is asking "Mumma please can you do a LO of me tonight". Don't need any inspiration with a request like that. In this LO I have used Sassafras PP, Tim Holtz Tags, buttons, eyelets, Karen Fosters Scrappers Floss, Thickers letters, ink, thread and Jenny Bowlin bingo cards. I have lots of paper left over so will do another x
