Echo Park - All about a boy

After doing Project Life for many weeks and doing the catch up I had a great night at Daisy Chain where I spend most Friday nights with the girls... I finally stepped away from PL and put this layout together.. I so miss doing my layouts.. but PL is very time consuming along with being on a Design Team, working, training, being a Mum and learning new things ever day.. There is never enough hours in the day for me.  But that has always been my problem.  I want to do too much LOL

There is a cute story behind these photos.  There is a new girl who has moved into our street. Corey has realised he knows her from school so now he has been hiding from her every time she goes past whistling to herself on her pink pushbike.. He does the who spy thing and puts himself out there but hides from her.  He is under outside chairs, tables, even makes up a fort out of my blankets and hides under there and spies on her.. It is so funny.  He was camouflaging himself this day from her acting like a commando. He never wears this beanie and he never plays with this gun... Ohhh what girls do to a boy LOL

I have used the new Echo Park All about a boy collection and I love it.. Such great colours and nice to be able to use papers that are so much fun to work with.  I love the back ground paper.. I have splashed a bit of pain in the back and sewn on my photos for added texture.
My Heidi Swapp stamps are great for added journaling too.

I have decided to add in a layout now and then in between my weeks with my PL folder as some weeks I have a celebration or a special occasion on and it is nice to addd in... ohh and I have ordered some 6x12 page protectors from Craft House in NZ so that will be great to have a bit of a mix of pages in there.
Day off for me today... I have been training.. now in Noosa getting my hair done by my sister @ Energy Hair Co , school pick up then indoor cricket training til 6pm.. home to cook Thai curry chicken patties and salad for dinner... then off to create for the evening with my gorgeous friend Monika.
So thank you for stopping in.. Have a great week and keep creating girls x
