Time is the healer

Well hi there all.. It has been 4 weeks tomorrow since I had my shoulder surgery.  It is a pain in the butt (shoulder) and I am seriously over it.  The pain each day varies.. I know it is quite sore most days til about midday 1pm and I'm sure this is due to my sleeping on it but I broke my T6 and T7 falling down our internal stairs when Corey was only 7 weeks old... so I have not been able to sleep flat on my back since then.  Hence why I am waking up feeling like a truck has hit me as I am sleeping on both sides.  Its a massive test and challenge for a person like me as I never sit still.  Always out on the go except for night time which is my down time.  I had a break down with my hubby this morning sitting on the toilet seat lid lol... just bummed that I have to listen to my body and I am getting frustrated.  We are currently in our lovely caravan at the beach so there is no power walks, bike reading, out on the boogie boards etc this year.. so I feel a little lost and useless and no fun.  But hubby is good at consoling me and saying its ok...I need to rest and relax.

If you are not a member of my Facebook group "Snap it up Project Life" become a member.  We share all our pages and pockets and ideas there..  I have also decided after many lovely girls asking me to start designing my own PL kits.  So I am nearly done with the first kit that will be available in about 2 or 3 weeks.  I have names of who are interested and I will be doing 20 or so a month.  Everything will be included except your page protector and thickers as you can create your own titles with your own thickers and also to keep the postage prices down.  Private message me if you are keen as I will be doing these once a month for as long as the interest is there.

Ok so below is my Week 48.  I have used the 6x6 page protectors which I love to use and mix things up a bit now and then.  I love them as each card is like a mini 12x12.

Below I have used the Heidi Swap Christmas 6x6 Paper pad with Simple Stories number strip.

A very sad day and week for so many people so I have added this in about Phillip Hughes using a little Flip Flap from Close to my Heart.

Below is my Week 49.  I was in New Zealand this week laying my Nana to rest who passed away at age 91.  I love being at home and spending quality fun time with all these great kids.
I have used my gorgeous goodies from Flutterby Designs here in the page below.

I love this little pocket.  Im so proud of my  Mums garden.  Her and John are very passionate and proud of their little home which looks a millions dollars and full of character.. I have adhered these cute little wood veneer circles.. you can find them here and finished the page off with a matching flair button.  Anita has miles of gorgeous and funky flairs to suit all sorts of pages.. go check them out here ...

I love this little 3x4 pocket card.  So funky and bright.. just livens up my page.. Flutterbys has them here

Below is another cute printed out 6x4 pocket card.  I have used the little page TAB to add a little embellishing to it.  You will find the huge range of tabs here.  The birds and hearts were on a lovely hand made card I got.  I just had to recycle them and use them again on this page.  I love them.

And lastly for this week my favorite fresh juice in NZ.   I love it.. it is so fresh and icy cold is to die for.  I managed to bring back 3 bottles this time.. I have made them into ice blocks.
I have used a Flutterbys flair button again here as I cant get enough of flairs and a little photo cut out with the date on it..

So that winds me up for another week or so.. I hope you are all getting into your PL or catching up or even creating your title page for 2015.. I cant wait to get there. I am currently up to week 51 and very excited to start a whole new year all over again.
Til next time.. be happy and be kind x

  2. Good luck with your kits - not that luck is needed or has anything to do with your success... Your pages are gorgeous and your kits will allow others to have the same gorgeousness in their albums. And keep listening to your body as it needs this time and you will be back to your usual self in no time.....
