Ohh its been soooo long

I miss blogging on a regular basis but us big people are always just so so busy.  I like to fill my days... and I do.. but man oh man.. there is so much that I don't get done that I would love to.
In the past 4 weeks I have been busy working... have been to Byron Bay for a long weekend for the Ocean Swim my hubby competes in, have put myself on a healthy lifestyle change and have lost 9.5kg, been struggling with a nasty issue in my life, but have finally got it sorted... I went to Ebay and bought a set of BIG BALLS... LOL.... and also have been spending any time I can with my close friends and my awesome husband on my days off.. He is amazing and so are my BFF's.
But hey that is life.. and if we don't die through the hard times.. we learn from them and get stronger.
I am seriously blessed with my life.. and the people in it.. I wouldn't change a thing.
I have been busy with my Project Life.. I am loving it more and more each week.  There is so much more I want to do with it.. but as Im 4 to 5 weeks behind most of the time... I just keep going and going. But this week I have been playing with my Cuttlebug and stamps.. having lots of fun creating different things.. I haven't scrapped for over a week but at the same time I have been creating.. Love it!!
I am at present putting together a date for my next Project Life Retreat here at Daisy Chain Scrapbooks in Nambour. The last one was a massive hit and we had an absolute fantastic girly weekend.  I will blog the date as soon as I have one.
I have just added a few pics below of some of my work I have done lately.

After we all work all week and have our own life commitments.. its always fun and fabulous to catch up with these girls..

Lucky we are all dorks... thats why we love each other!!!

My girl and her boy Igor... Igor and Corey are great mates.

We have decided to do a mini revamp at home in our lounge and dining area.. I am doing from wood and red accessories to an off white beige fleck lounge with beige and natural accessories with a pop of  and yellow... I can't wait.. Both lounge suite and white two pack dining table and chairs are being made as I type.. So exciting..  I found this little beauty today for $35 from $79 and the little artichoke flowers too.. they are gorgeous .

Our new lounge.. but I have ordered it in a light cream with a beige fleck in it.. and fabric!!! I have bought 8 plush cushions in the earthy tones and gorgeous textures.. and also added in 2 yellow patterned ones and a yellow and white cotton throw ...

Below is my little Simple Stories Snap journal card.  I have added my calendar to cork board then used this cute little EVERYDAY VELLUM TAGS.. from Studio Fourteen40.  You can have a choice to have the underneath journalling or stamping to come through the tag ... OR.. like I have done I had punched out a white piece of card stock and adhered it to the yellow tag.  It gives it a very bright fresh shine to it if you have a darker colour underneath.
Make sure you pop over to Studio Fourteen40 as they are having a sale on right now!!!!

Just have to add my journalling in this little beauty..  I have used a cute little diamonte on this camera lens... I love cameras and I love to add a little quirky something in the lens..

Monika and I finally got some US TIME... oh we miss each other.. Was perfect at our favourite place to catch up.. Silva Spoon in Cotton Tree.  So delish and omg the homemade cakes they make there ... I have never seen quite amazing looking cakes and cupcakes in my whole life..!!!!

Well Im off to go and Project Life tonight.. a bit of catching up to do.
Take care everyone and thanks for stopping in.
Night night

  1. Lovely to catch up on your world Lisa!!! I am happy to hear that life is on the up and you are finding some peace and strength!! Always love your creations as you well know from our mutual admiration sessions on Facebook. Looking at your gorgeous beach shots makes me all warm and happy as I adorn a beanie and get all snug under a blanket on a rather chilly evening here in the Blue Mountains. Keep me up to date with the date of your retreat as I would love to fly in and join in all the creative fun. Take care xx
