Here is Corey on the first day with his Crutches... he had mixed feelings about it all.. mostly down. Especially when he passed kids having fun playing and running around.. that is normally my boy.. But at least there is now light at the end of the 3 month tunnel.

Well I am happy it is now Saturday and we are off to the beach til Monday now to chill out and take in some fresh air.
Corey my best boy in the world has had what I thought were growing pains. He is only 6 and is a very active and extremely healthy happy boy. His pains were getting worse to the extreme that he could not even manage to walk. I have been lifting him to his spot and toilet etc so i thought this is not right. Took him to the Doctor yesterday and the Doctor has said he has acute Arthritis and has already lost muscle mass on his knee and has a bit of swelling in the shin. He was taken for xrays and blood tests straight away. Thank God the xrays look very positive but there are a couple of concerns so he is off for an ultra sound on Monday morning. He is not a happy boy and is chronic pain then he is ok. He is on crutches but is so terrible to see the sadness in his eyes as he keeps saying "I hate having a sore leg Mumma". He has basically nothing since Wednesday. He is used to going to the beach most days after school for a body surf, play footy in the back yard with Dad or cricket or tennis up against the wall of the house. Just makes you reaslise how lucky we are with good health and makes you feel sooo much for the poor parents and children out there that are not as fortunate as us all out there running around out there not realising just how lucky we all are xxx
Off to the beach so I have to go and pack some food and board games

Been a busy week here again.... Looking forward to creating some wonderful LO's for A2Z in the few weeks or so. Life is always so busy though... so nice to stop the clock and pause life for a few hours each day. We are taking a short break from the busy life style just for 3 days in our caravan. Taking it just about 15 minutes from home but will be on the beach.... listening to the waves, fish and chippies for dinner, some wine and basically have 100% time and attention on one another which seems to take a back seat sometimes when life gets so overloaded.

I did this LO just about 4 days after my darling daughter... my best friend of 18 years told me that she was going to leave home and go and live back we left 3.5 years ago. She misses her closest friends dearly and has not really been herself since we have been here. We both cried for ages together. That plan has changed since then... just 3 months ago.. well it has been postponed until next year. At least this way I will be more prepared.
Anyway I have used MM Animal Cracker and Laundry Line PP, Tiger Lily flower, thread, Heidi Swapp Letters, Kaiser Rubons, EK Success Dates, lace and a bling brad. x

A fun Sassafras LO

How cool is this range by Sassafras! It is so much fun to do a LO with especially when my boy Corey is asking "Mumma please can you do a LO of me tonight". Don't need any inspiration with a request like that. In this LO I have used Sassafras PP, Tim Holtz Tags, buttons, eyelets, Karen Fosters Scrappers Floss, Thickers letters, ink, thread and Jenny Bowlin bingo cards. I have lots of paper left over so will do another x
